Based on a current status of land resources and economic development, this paper employs the governmental data to calculate the remained plowlands quantity by means of plowlands demands and plowlands supply, presents some approaches to protecting plowlands resources, aiming to maintain a dynamic balance in gross plowlands quantity for a sustainable development in society and economy.
